We at the ISOPLUS Group attach great importance to quality assurance. A management system according to EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14001 is implemented in all production facilities to ensure continuous quality assurance at the highest technical level. These quality management systems cover all areas of the company such as production, planning, design and project planning, application and construction or installation.

The requirement for practical implementation within the ISOPLUS Group is the systematic organisation of all the workflows and actions and their daily monitoring. All individual areas are continuously integrated and have the highest priority. We regularly review the effectiveness of the QA system based on internal reports, audits and technical and commercial documentation.

Quality assurance in purchasing

Strict selection of raw materials: we only work with trustworthy suppliers who meet our strict quality standards. Every batch of raw materials is tested to ensure that it meets our specifications, before it is released for use in production.

Quality assurance in production

The quality assurance and management system according to EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14001 is the external operational framework of quality control. In addition, we also deliberately provide greater safeguards in the system components to exclude defects or non-compliance from the outset. Thus, we in the ISOPLUS Group exceed the requirements set by the European standards EN 253 and EN 448, substantially in some aspects.

To ensure product quality from the outset, all incoming materials are subjected to comprehensive receiving inspection to EN 253. Approved suppliers must be certified in accordance with the EN ISO 9001 guidelines and all required or necessary acceptance test certificates must be available. Furthermore, after each work step, our employees are obliged to check their work in line with the company-wide quality policy. We also get an independent quality assurance body to carry out the tests and controls described in the standards.

Quality assurance in construction

Monitoring construction is an important link in the QA chain and therefore requires maximum attention. ISOPLUS’s own regional installation centres ensure this. The quality securing measures of building site procedures are carried out directly by QA division of post insulation.

Our responsible and intensively trained engineers, technicians, site managers, foremen and installers are examined and have recognised country-specific examination certificates. The other tasks of the installation QA tasks, including cross-trade activities, involve several responsibilities. These include checking the execution of civil engineering and pipe-laying work, checking the basic conditions for insulation and seling work before site work begins, and taking into account the weather conditions.

The comprehensive installation quality assurance is completed by the ISOPLUS factory fitters by checking their individual tasks, creating individual documentation of the fitter’s qualifications and a visual check or, on request, destructive joint testing of the work carried out. In order to identify the workers later on, each joint will be marked durably by a special code number. Additional, external control of the casing joints by independent test institutes can also take place.

What our suppliers think

ISOPLUS’ customers and end-users rely on them to supply pipes with robustness, long service life, and proper insulation so as to minimize heat loss from networks over time – because low heat loss translates into lower CO2 emissions. Borealis has a strong commitment to team up with ISOPLUS on various projects to deliver the innovative polyolefin solutions ISOPLUS needs to provide consistently high quality of pipe networks for ambitious clean-energy projects. Together with ISOPLUS, we are enabling life’s essentials.
