Regardless of whether for local and district heating, local and district cooling, bioenergy and agriculture, for solar heat, CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) or industrial purposes: our pre-insulated pipe systems create connections. Every day, renewable energy flows through them, quickly and precisely where it is needed. In this way, we are making the energy transition possible – throughout Europe. Our technical solutions, which include alarm systems, leak detection, structural calculations and project planning and optimisation, and also contribute to achieving this goal.
Since it was founded, ISOPLUS has developed into a market leader in the industry through continuous innovation and strategic expansion. ISOPLUS has continuously expanded and consolidated its market position, not only by integrating state-of-the-art technologies, but also by building strong relationships with key partners.
The ISOPLUS Group consists of companies that operate independently in different markets. This gives us the flexibility to respond to our customers' individual requirements and provide tailor-made solutions that meet their needs. Our annual production volume includes around 4,000 kilometres of steel pipes and 1,000 kilometres of flexible pipe systems. The sales and distribution locations are strategically spread around Europe to ensure optimum market coverage and short delivery periods. This also applies to our nine production sites across Europe, where our employees manufacture pipes and fittings that we sell in more than 30 countries.
The new headquarters of the ISOPLUS Group is the revitalised “Bauer in der Au” (a listed farmstead) in Rosenheim. This symbolises our traditional-conscious attitude just as well as our innovative spirit and our adaptability.
Just like the listed building, which skilfully combines historical elements with modern design and technology, ISOPLUS stands for persistence and continued development.
In the same way as the building was renovated with an eye on the future, ISOPLUS works continuously on the development of energy-efficient solutions, which will meet the requirements of a changing world. Our new location embodies the foundation of our company: a strong, tried and tested base, which is linked to a future-orientated vision.

Our company history
Since the commercial agency for pre-insulated pipes was founded in Bavaria in the early 1970s – at the time with another name – ISOPLUS has always continued to grow.
Technological innovations and sustainable growth
Our commitment to innovation and quality is reflected in our continuous technological development. The introduction of highly modern pre-insulated pipe systems and highly diverse services, from the planning and design and project management through to installation and surveillance, have enabled us to offer energy-efficient solutions for district heating and industrial applications. This integrated approach makes sure that we can offer our customers tailored, individual solutions.
This is a central component of our mission, to promote sustainable and environmentally-friendly solutions.
Europe-wide expansion and global presence
In the meantime, we employaround 1,600 people in nine production locations throughout Europe. Together with our sales offices, we are represented in over 30 countries and are the European market leader in energy-efficient pre-insulated pipe systems for transformative and sustainable energy solutions – for millions of households, cities, municipalities and utility companies worldwide.
This strategic positioning enables us to ensure short delivery routes and to always be local and near our customers. This proximity to our customers and markets is an important part of our success.
En route to the future
With the acquisition of a majority holding by Egeria in 2022, we made a significant step in the direction of further expansion and strengthening of our market position. This partnership helps us to realise our vision of green heat in Europe and to further expand our leading role in sustainable energy solutions.

- 1974: Founding of a trading agency for pre-insulated pipes in Bavaria, Germany
- 1978: Opening of the production facility in Hohenberg, Austria under the name “VOEST ALPINE”, as well as our first production facility in Volkach, Germany under the name ISOLROHR.
- 1980: Relocation of German production to Fulda, which was then in turn relocated to Sondershausen in 1991
- 1986: Austrian production was transferred to ISOLROHR
- 1987: Opening of a production location in Hungary under the same name
- 1989: The birth of ISOPLUS as a brand name in Austria 1990: Renaming in Germany and Hungary
- 1992: Sales organisation in Denmark
- 1993: Production in the Czech Republic
- 1994: Production in Romania
- 1997: Introduction of the first PE extruder in Germany and Austria
- 1998: Introduction of the first production line for flexible pipes in continuous production process in Austria
- 1999: Sales organisation in Poland
- 2003: Sales organisation in Croatia 2005/2006: Further expansion of the continuous production in Austria to include a further flexible pipes line, another line was added one year later
- 2007: Production in Serbia
- 2008: Start of continuous production of rigid pipe systems in Austria
- 2009: Sales organisation in Italy
- 2010: Sales organisation in France
- 2011: Sales organisation in the Netherlands/Benelux
- 2012: Production in Italy
- 2017: Sales organisation in the UK
- 2022: Acquisition of ISOPLUS by EGERIA Private Equity
- 2023: Acquisition of the district heating division of Uponor Infra business unit of UPONOR Finland
