ISOPLUS is a partner in the new AGFW District Heating Roadshow
How does a municipal heat planning initiative turn into a district heating network that is approved, financed, and reliably sustainable? The AGFW’s new roadshow takes participants through the entire project chain in a single afternoon. ISOPLUS is a partner in the initiative.
Together with the AGFW, GEF Ingenieur AG, and PeWo Energietechnik GmbH, isoplus Fernwärmetechnik GmbH has developed the practical seminar “District Heating: Planning Concepts, Implementing Projects.” It is aimed at municipalities, utilities, and planning firms that are preparing or overseeing a district heating network project.
The program follows the path of a real-world project: from the feasibility study through financing, subsidies, and approval to the construction of the network and handover to the customer. Two hands-on sessions bring the practical aspects to life. Using pipes brought to the seminar, Stephan Berger of isoplus Fernwärmetechnik GmbH demonstrates which installation errors can jeopardize a network’s service life; a compact station is used to explain heat transfer at the customer’s site.
The inaugural session will take place on October 7, 2026, in Passau; additional dates in various regions are being planned.
