Sheridan College has four separate campuses enrolling 40,000 students. The project focused on reducing the consumption of the two largest campuses. The goals are to reduce the college’s energy consumption by 65% and CO2 emission by 45% by 2030.

Efficient and future-proof solution

To achieve the project's goals new district heating and cooling systems were installed at Trafalgar and Davis campuses. This allowed to connect the two buildings and optimize the energy centers to operate at higher levels of efficiency. The new heating and cooling systems also made it possible to adapt the heat supply and variable options of source heating for future upgrades and eliminate inefficient sources, as more efficient or carbon neutral alternatives can now be sourced and utilized.

ISOPLUS supplied pre-insulated pipes and fittings for the project. Training and technical support was provided throughout the installation process and following the delivery. We worked closely together with the customer and others involved to make a timely delivery and remedy any unforeseen issues
